Good morning, Daniel. I am always the same. I am love, joy, peace, and more. I am perfect in every way, and yet totally humble. Can you say the same? “I the LORD do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.” – Malachi 3:6 No, Lord. I only catch glimpses of being like you. You are the absolute best at everything. I see the possibilities, but will only realize my full potential in Christ when I am in heaven with you. “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” – Matthew 5:48. Yes, child. I call every Christ-follower to be perfect, even though I know that this will be impossible for you until you are home with me in heaven. “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” – Matthew 11:29 Then, I will worship you forever and bask in your amazing glory. “…but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness…” – Galatians 5:22 Yes, you will. And remember where your power comes from. That will help you with humility: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13 I look forward to that day, Lord God, my Master. But here on earth, I will continue to strive for humility and not think more of myself than I ought to, for everything that is good about me comes from you. I can do nothing good in my own strength. Nothing. Child, when you get to heaven: “No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.” – Revelation 22:3 Yes, Lord. “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” – Galatians 3:28 You are my child, and I want you to have ever-deepening experiences of my glory now, and remain completely humble as I reveal myself to you. You are mine, and I am yours. But I also belong to millions of other Christ-followers, and all my children are equal in my sight. “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” – 1 John 3:1 Yes, Lord. We are all equally loved. And we are separately special and unique, and yet all equally special and unique. Is that right? Yes, child. So, ask me for what you want. I am your Father: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” – Matthew 7:7 Lord, I want you to make me into a highly obedient Christ-follower that brings you glory. Thank you for your love! “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16 Dear child: “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” – Psalm 139:13-14 Father God, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit. One God. Three persons. The triune God. Thank you for this start to my day. I am so grateful to have had this time with you. Dear child, go about your day, loving me, yourself, and others, with my love. The love of Christ. – “Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Amen. Lord, help me answer this call today. This CALL TO LOVE. And so you shall, my child. Have a holy, Christ-centered day. Thank you, Lord. All: May you have a blessed day, and may you love God, yourself, and others with Christ’s love.
