Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. Psalm 20:7

Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for giving us the most powerful weapon in the universe: Your Holy Name. We are your children who follow your Way and who are called by your Name. We call on you for protection from the evil one and his demons.

Dear child, nothing can hurt your eternal destiny, that is, to be with me forever in the glory of heaven. Call on me frequently throughout your day. I am always here for you.

CLAIM THE BLOOD OF CHRIST

Jesus Christ, we claim you and your shed blood which paid the penalty for all our sins. We claim our place under your authority and direction, to obey and follow you, and you alone. No force of evil can block your love and grace for us. We belong to you. We are your children.

Dear child, it brings me great pleasure when my children claim me as their Lord and Master. This act of surrender to my authority is right and just, for I am your Savior, and I will deliver you to your place in Heaven, to infinite and everlasting joy, peace, and love.

KEEP AN ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE

Lord Jesus, this life is but an incredibly small dot on the timeline of eternity. Help us to remember that. Help us keep an eternal perspective.

Dear child, I have given you the power of my Holy Spirit to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. “However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:20

Lord Jesus, your Holy Word is so rich with wisdom and insight: “At that time, Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, ‘I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.'” Luke 10:21

Dear child, “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” Luke 10:22

REMEMBER WE ARE CHOSEN AND PROTECTED

Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for choosing us, Christ-followers, and revealing yourself to us. We praise your Holy Name, the name that is above all names in heaven and on earth, that at your name, Satan and his demons must flee. We claim a hedge of protection around ourselves, our family, and our ministries. We humbly and deeply thank you for your protection. May your Holy Spirit lead us in righteous behavior to glorify your Holy Name. Thank you for allowing us to see what is really real; we are so privileged. “Then he turned to his disciples and said privately, ‘Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.'” Luke 10:23-24

Dear child, I love you and all who are called by my Holy Name.
