Dear Heavenly Father, good morning! Thank you for this day. As you know, Patty and I are on a flight to Jamaica for a 10-day vacation. We are grateful for this time off from work and to spend time with each other and you.

Every day, I post about the things I am most grateful for in a chat group of dozens of other guys who are doing the same. It is a powerful exercise and one which I recommend. It helps me a lot to be more grateful every day for Christ’s provision for me and my family. Try this exercise and text me privately, letting me know if it greatly blesses you. I believe it will!

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Reflect on all that you have for which to be grateful.
2. Make a list of 5-10 items.
3. Share with someone.
4. Thank God for His provision for you.

This is a great daily discipline and is easily included as part of your quiet time. Enjoy!
